We welcome all school children in Estonian Traditional Music Center during two days in December to the concerts of DUO RUUT, a popular folk group, and STEFAN, an Estonian-Armenian singer-songwriter from Viljandi.
Stefan Airapetjan, known professionally as STEFAN, is an Estonian singer-songwriter with Armenian roots who was born in Viljandi. He started singing at an early age and always took part in school’s singing competitions, usually winning them. In 2019 he made it to the finals of Eesti Laul with the song “Without You”. That was his great breakthrough and he has now worked with many well-known producers and musicians in Estonia and abroad. Stefan’s singles have all become big radio hits. Stefan represented Estonia at Eurovision Song Contest 2022 in Torino with the song “Hope”.
At December concerts in Estonian Traditional Music Center Stefan will talk about his heritage and roots and sing some Armenian songs alongside his greatest hits.
