XXIX Viljandi Folk Music Festival takes place on 28. – 31. July 2022 in Viljandi Castle Hills and city center.
We welcome all folk music fans from all over the world to Viljandi to celebrate good music, beautiful nature, and positive vibes for the XXIX times for the most major folk music events of the year in Baltics - Viljandi Folk Music Festival.

This year's festival theme is "Roots and Treetops" to highlight the young generation of folk music artists - the bearers of our traditional musical roots and to celebrate the 25th year of Estonian ETHNO camp, from where almost every Estonian folk star artist has risen.
