"Invitation to a Duel" is a series of events where one dancer "challenges" a musician who has inspired him/her the most or vice versa. Influencing each other on stage, improvisation, creativity, and fresh emotions play an important part in these duels. This time, Indian performers broaden the horizons of the audience with their traditions and communication customs. Indian music is famous for its healing powers. In Indian dances, it is important to transmit specific information through the signs of body language. Those two aspects together make the dialogue of Indian artists very emotional and interesting to watch.
Participants of the duel are: Vidha Kathak (dance), Arshad Khan (tabla) ja Imram Khan (harmonium, vocals).
