Just as farmers evaluate the crop they have hidden away in their barn each autumn by feeling how the golden grain smoothly runs through their fingers, so are the traditional music lovers gathering in Viljandi at the beginning of October to put an end to the summer season with their harvest fest. The juiciest and greatest fruit is brought out onto the stage of Traditional Music Center and into workshops for examination. The song-barrels get their lids kicked off and dance lockers get unlocked - may the autumn be worthy of the wonderful summer!
