The XVII winter dance party, which was held on February 6 in the Estonian Traditional Music Center and the centre of Viljandi, turned out to be more popular than ever before. According to the organisers, more than 700 people took part in the joint dancing session and the audience consisted of about 300 people. During the main day of the party, which lasted for three days, Estonian and Polish dance workshops were held in the Chamber Hall of the Estonian Traditional Music Center and the folk dance group Vabajalg and the University of Tartu Folk Art Group gave a performance in the Grand Hall.
