Svjata Vatra
Estonia
Moving and soothing
Sjata Vatra sacred fire sets hearts ablaze in summertime Estonia! The music of the ensemble who have played together since autumn 2005 is largely based on Estonian and Ukrainian heritage, yet being a completely new phenomenon already. When, at the beginning, they mostly played Ukrainian tunes, then by now they also have a rich repertoire of Estonian songs added. Ruslan has lived in Estonia for three years and accepted our local rhythms, without, of course, forgetting his own. Other members of the ensemble have actively contributed tunes that are then arranged together. This has all resulted in rhythmic and fast dance music. Svjata Vatra is friends whose music surpasses the borderline between nationalities. The energy that is felt in playing and communication radiates flame and heat.
