Sille Ilves and Martin Leamon met 2001 at Viljandi Folk Music Festival when Martin was playing in a trio Boys From The Hill from Wales and Sille was fiddling for the dancers. The two young people soon found their common musical language weaving together the heartfelt music of their countries and creating something very unique and new.

The duo became called SILD (bridge) and in 2004 they recorded their first CD “Priodi” (in Cymric ‘fit together’) which has received acclaim in the UK media.

Their deeply sensational music has not only been heard at both concerts and festivals in various places all over Great Britain but also in a number of radio broadcasts all around Europe.
