Dazkarieh music is calm and meditating that may suddenly become an energy and rhythm blast that never lacks spiritual and emotional components. The leading instrument of the group – Swedish nyckelharpa – is played by Vasco Ribeiro Casais drawing on the inspiration found in the Mediterranean countries, Norhtern Portugal, Galicia, Africa, and sometimes even Jimi Hendrix.
The final touch to the band is given by their charming singer Joana Negrao whose smooth voice caresses us all through the concert.
