It’s the first opportunity to listen to Liisi Koikson program that is founded on runo songs. The ensemble Helletused could be characterized by their approach to the runo song that is of good taste, with a balanced sense of style and minimalist conception – transparent, pulsating. Runo song is not just a musical theme, it is the power that keeps the ensemble together and provides a source of inspiration. A folk musician Cätlin Jaago who we know from various other groups (e.g. Vägilased, Anu Taul, Ro: Toro) is also giving her contribution. The driving force of Helletused lies in their young guitarist Paul Daniel. It is also important to mention the most respectable member of the group, a legendary folksinger Mari Sarv.
