Viljandi Folk Music Festival welcomes with pleasure professional and friendly journalists. During the Festival there is a PRESSROOM with all the necessary equipment for your work at your disposal at the Festival headquarters (Posti 1, Viljandi Culture Academy). The room is open from Thursday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Unless your publication has agreed otherwise, 2 journalists (or a journalist and a photographer/operator) per publication will be accredited without fee. The journalist working at our Festival has a Festival PRESSCARD and a WRISTBAND, issued by the Festival. These will guarantee you entrance to all the concert places, backstage, Festival Center and to the pub “Tegelaste Tuba”(Greenroom). NB! It enables but does not guarantee you entrance to the concert places with a limited number of seats (inside: Big Room, the Theater Ugala hall, churches).

We are expecting by July 25th 2005 (the latest) your application signed by your editor in chief, sent via e-mail or through the regular post. The application is required from free-lance journalists alike, approved by the publication that has hired them.

Accrediting fee 600EEK (18% VAT incl.), will be paid by the publication (or free-lance journalist) making a bank transfer according to the invoice that we will issue on the basis of your application for accrediting.
